About the process Who will handle the operation in The Gambia?
We have a 3 member team in The Gambia made up of independent, non related individuals volunteering to oversee the operation.
How will the items be distributed?
We will randomly pick a location every month to deliver items. A package comprising rice, sugar and oil will be given at random all individuals present.
How do you ensure accountability in The Gambia?
Each step of the distribution transaction is recorded and a report is generated every month. We require at least 2 of our 3 member team to sign for each transaction (i.e. receive money, buy items). Therefore, we have a situation where no one individual makes a decision or executes without oversight

How can I get started to fundraise?
Please send us a request under the fundraise page under the GET INVOLVED tab and we will provide you with the necessary tools to start a campaign through a crowdfunding site.
TAx informationIs my donation tax deductible?
Yes. We are a pending 501(c)(3) Non Profit Organization.
How do I get a tax receipt for my donation?
You will receive a receipt of you donation via PayPal. If you do not receive a receipt within 24hrs, please check your junk mail folder. Otherwise email us and we'll gladly send you one.
DonatingWhat will my donation do?
Your donation, covers program expenses (food items) and administrative expenses(i.e. PayPal fees, wire transfer fees). We strive to limit administrative expense by only using volunteers. This allows us to keep a very low administrative expenses (between 5-10%)and allocate the majority of our funds to the cause.
How can I cancel my recurring donation?
You can cancel you recurring donation via your PayPal account under the "Activity Tab" or send us a message using the contact form.
